  • You wear actual shoes? I don’t think I’ve ever seen that.

  • Wait, you mean these vr headsets are OLED? How are people okay with that? I suppose the target demographic would be more willing to buy a vr headset with a disposable display but still. I guess I'll wait for MicroLED.

  • The guy who designed the shoe drying power bank better get a STUPID bonus for putting up with all of that crap!

  • no jumper

  • _(booming voice)_ *H E Y* *L I S S S T E E N N*

  • Scalpers ruined RTX 30x0 and Ryzen 5xxx launches. They'll do the same thing for the Big Navi.

  • God I hate beards.. everyone looks the same.. clones everywhere.

  • @27:09 Does Linus have hyper hydrosis!?

  • HP Reverb G2 > Valve Index SIGNIFICANTLY.

  • Yeah, cool story. When the AMD would have CUDA and RT cores and API that is used in most of the modern content creation apps from Photoshop and NLEs to 3D graphics suites and Unreal Engine wake us up. AMD with their complete lack of interaction with developers of professional software would always be losers no matter if they suggest slightly better performance. They lost in this niche even before starting a competition.

  • trump 3090

  • I would buy the shoe drive dryer battery bank

  • IK I'm a week late, but my Brother actually had the sweat gland thing done in high school since he actually had an oversweating issue. They basically just lasered some percentage of his glands on his pits and then it solved the issue so he now sweats like a normal person. It's not like you're just going to kill all the glands, only enough to make it not a problem. Also why do feet need to sweat?

  • "HBM memory" would be; High Bandwith Memory Memory I think, what we have here is a case of RAS syndrome, which is Redundant Acronym Syndrome Syndrome :D

  • how come there is a video ("Nvidia tried to bury this") where linus praises the 6000 series and in this video he seems like to hate it?

  • 27:30 is when Linus starts talking about his sweaty feet 😉

  • Well one thing about the RTX 3080 is I'm saving money because it is impossible to get your hand on

  • Are they even making 3080s? (puts on tinfoil hat) It feels like Nvida did this whole thing on purpose. They release their two big cards before AMD's announcement then their cheap one comes out after. Looks like a quick cash grab then they stop production on the cards so they can start on more expensive versions that will be announced sometime soon and they will double dip on the feeding fenzy... Why can they only be bought online? Why are there no in store ordering to get one? Feels like a scam. I really wanted a 3080 but I will gladly get a AMD card if I can get my hands on one. (Odds are that that wont even happen either.) Its just really upsetting to build a brand new PC that would run 4k games and I have been forced to use my old 7800...

  • 34:21 all those people who tell me more than 5 tabs is too much. Thank you !

  • Liking this broadcast just because Linus has the exact same HD650 x Modmic setup as me.

  • Hey linus , is it one of your pee pee is denis ?? Is that why you doesn't show him on camera these Days?

    • 😁 Linus tec tips viewer from a long time , denis long time no see on your vedios

  • Bruce Lee died because he had his sweat glands in his armpits removed/disabled, and overheated.

  • You're STUNNINGLY wrong about ram speed and amount in high end graphics cards. 3090's arent targetted at gamers.. 3080's are. 3090's are targetted at rendering etc.. and not "video rendering"....

  • Why not just a second pair of sneakers?

  • @⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻ lol u lose

  • Luke: "I'm cheap, I'm not sure I'm who you should be talking to"... Then he turns and you can see the Sennheiser logo on his headphones...

  • Who is Honey?

  • Pcbs are pretty cheap

  • Rocket Lake sounds like a pathetic attempt at a new cpu.

  • dont send this guy money he dosent need it one bit he expes us to pay him yet he can even respond to a super chat if its under 5 sorry but he can care less about his 12m subs

  • About drying shoes/boots: I have sometimes used an aquarium air pump (cost a few dollars at Value Village) and a few feet of plastic tubing to feed a small but continuous air flow into the depths of boots, bottles, and other things that are hard to dry. It works. Pro: it's cheap. Con: powered from AC, not battery

  • When will shoe dryer be available?

  • Won't the fan start to smell like sweat... so you'll be blowing sweaty air on your face if you use it after drying shoes. :P

  • Linus, we love you, but a battery powered fan is not an original invention.

  • 17:13 Slap it ^^

  • I did not hit her, it's not true, It’s bullshit, I did not hit her. I did nooot. 1:09

  • Give the gymbag a wireless charger than you can just plunk your gym back on the charger and make the battery live a week and save money

  • Only gen 1 Pokémon matter

  • Where's the 14nm Dance?

  • I flip flop a lot, and AMD gives me a better experience overall.

  • LTT D2!!!!!

  • 15:12 Kermit Tech Tips

  • Your foot problem, use smartwool socks for more breathability. There are some sports socks.

  • I am having problems with NVidia 3D, got their expensive glasses which are now door stops.

  • Linus starting to look like Lionel Messi the downgraded version.

  • Having a high res display in VR doesn't have to make it hard to run. The issue with screendoor is literally seeing between the pixels. Not that the things being rendered are too low in quality. You could still push a 1440p image to a 16k display and have it be easy as fuck to drive. It's all down the the display hardware/software in the display. Basic example. Turning down the render scale in a game. You are still viewing a 4k image lets say (technically) but the render itself in the backend is 1080p. There are still 4k worth of pixels in the image though.

  • My question for the presenters is how do you judge drivers for a product if you don't use it as a daily driver? You also give me the impression that everybody in your company is using Nvidia, so how do you know? it seems like you're repeating something you've experienced once during the launch of the product and keep repeating over the live span of it and it's successors! When I was younger I used to be Nvidia "fanboy" but with age comes some understanding so it has fizzled out. Looking forward to the response a "fanboy". (Just to balance this comment: AMD, AMD)

  • Whichever company has STOCK of thier product is gonna be the Winner!

  • 29:54, I thought he will gonna segue into JLCPCB sponsor. lol

  • "Nah I'm just gonna go with the 3080" OF COURSE. Nvidia put a $500 dollar extra price tag on a card that is clearly not worth it when it comes to the performance bump vs the 3080. They knew they would sell the True Flagship of their current lineup with ease and come out with a TITAN next year with a stick-it-note "haha gotcha", all wrapped in leather.

  • I work in construction and, like many of my colleagues and despite the boots claiming to be waterproof, go home with wet boots after a rainy day. Boots do not dry easily e even when stuffed with paper and left next to a radiator. A device like this would be amazing especially considering my boots are often accidentally left wet in my van.

  • I stopped wearing winter boots in puberty because my feet would sweat so much that the boots couldn't dry overnight. As a kid I didn't have a problem like that, but ever since one horrible winter of wet feet I have been wearing regular shoes only.

  • Might be going back to team red for video card since Nvidia fuxked up their launch

  • Very cockey!

  • data tracking is a tricky one. if apple have any logs, for example they have your IP address and by that, ge-olocation. is that tracking? technically yes. but its a very long way from shit like wifi triangulation upload, etc.

  • Every time I see “Big Navi” I just think of an overweight fairy saying “Hey! Listen!” In a booming voice.

  • Linus - you need to put your shoes in front of the refrigerator. The warm air blown out the front of the refrigerator has lower moisture than the surrounding air. Just leave it there overnight. My dad taught us this while growing up. Thank me later. Oh also, on the subject of bacteria, if your shoes stink enclose them somehow (I just tie a plastic bag closed around them) and put them in the freezer. The bacteria making your unique stink will die and stop stinking. Winner winner.

  • I feel Linus' pain on shoes. For me, the back would always wear out. The padding would flake off and eventually a plastic frame in the shoe would be digging into my Achilles tendon. Also have the bottom wear out till the sides split. I started keeping 2 pair, one for work and rainy days and such. The other pair is for any time i won't be doing anything too active. The difference in wear between the 2 pairs is night and day, my Adidas are still in great condition while my work shoes look like hell. lol

  • Brown Bricks

  • My only GPU crashes have come from overclocking with Afterburner. Using a MSI GTX 1070 Gaming X 8gb. I RARELY have trouble gaming at 4k, even in games like Fallout 4, it just increases load times in most cases. Trying to use RTX on top of ultra settings, however, will make my GPU crawl at 15fps. Can't wait to get an RTX card when I can actually afford it but my current GPU gets the job done well enough for now.

  • When Linus said Stonks 😂😂

  • I remember in hockey we would open our still wet bags and use the hand dryers to dry our socks and skates out. Absolutely disgusting smell but well, nobody ever said hockey players were the cleanest......

  • Sorry Linus, that’s a bad idea

  • Can you guys get on the topic of GDPR soon? I mean with the Apple lawsuit, it is a no brainer.. ec.europa.eu/info/law/law-topic/data-protection_en

  • Lukes right, only the first 151 matter

  • Water-cooled badminton shoes.

  • What about just a plug-in version? Why do you need it cordless?

  • Anecdotal, but I’m running a stock Ryzen 5 3600 with a stock Radeon 5600XT and have had ZERO issues. It also came with a free game :D

  • Wanna start new meme Linus?

  • *Hexagons are bestagons*

  • 'Missed out on RTX 3000? You mighta dodged a bullet' when i decided to invest in a video card, and this is what happens

  • This is a good source of information, if you're not in a hurry. And you guys talk about what interests you. So there's no overload on current news. The news might be old, but the takes are fresh enough. Techquickie and Wan are enough to be up to date on weekly basis. Please don't change.

  • Does the new amd gpus have any kind built in hardware encoder for streaming? And i wish I cld get a nice fast phone that doesn't cost and arm and a leg cuz it has a really nice camera. Personally cld care less about camera just won't nice performance.

  • You can also have treatments that make it so you don't sweat in your feet (or your hands) temporarily (several weeks) if you don't want it to be permanent.

  • Not buying AMD Gpu is actually dodging a bullet. They drivers are terrible.

  • There is no way I'm blowing air on my face with something I put in my shoe.

  • US $1,000 = $2,000 Australian.

  • sounds like a portable ski boot dryer

  • Good luck with those AMD drivers

  • I already charge my phone every day I don't mind charging a bag once a week. Especially for 3x less the cost

  • hrwiki.info/plane/video/o6qpzNePmo2f3n4

  • Amd should make a radeon 69420xt for the lulz

  • Hey Linus . great show. But you make tons of video's. Can you tell me what computer you use for all the video's you create and edit on. I'm not much a gamer but |I love making Music video's. but I want lots of Storage at least 4k for viewing or 5k. Can you tell me the best computer I would need to do all these . I want it to be fast and I want to make sure that it runs cool all the time and to have a computer that I can upgrade with more ram . But 16 -32 GB Ram to start. I think Nividia RTX2070 would be good for 4K or 5K. But could you tell me what I would need to make a great video editing software computer and games too as well. Money isn't really the problem. I just want a great computer that will work without problems of overheating or problems of conflicting software that freezes or crashes because of conflicting software. it has to be windows 64 bit for my Steinberg Cubase recording music software. Could you please help me with this please. Thank You.

  • Yes, get people to buy the AMD cards, *_PLEASE_* !!!! That will take some of the demand off of the Nvidia cards, so I can finally get one, maybe.

  • Bro just have more pairs of shoes. It's better for your feet anyway.

  • I didn't give you permission to use my name in your video title. :-(

  • My facebook account was nuked for some reason

  • I think the shoe dryer will sell big time

  • Apple: User data belongs to users. Also apple: You can not repair your device other places since it is not your device.

  • I'm waiting the DDR5 SDRAM to be out in 2021 to buy a complete new PC system so I've luckily dodged this bullet lmao

  • Linus letting AMD into his heart one more time is like having a partner that cheats on you but you are stupid enough to say "ok I will give them one more try, it probably wasn't their fault" and then finding out five minutes later that your crotch is suddenly itching due to getting crabs off of them.

  • Keyboard shirt... WITHOUT RGB! NO! NOOOO!

  • the off topic stuff gives solid industry insight you can't find in other places that are more "efficient"

  • why not just make a gym bag/shoe dryer that's powered by usb c with an optional battery that integrates with it. Since many people may have a portable phone charger already the extra cost of the batteries could be mitigated for many and less waste this way. in addition, if it is able to produce heat, wouldn't putting in silica gel next to the fan be useful? as well as a small heater so it can dry the silica gel if it fills. The silica should make the instantaneous drying process even quicker and then later can heat the silica slowly to dry out the moisture over time.

  • Good video.

  • I would consider a product like you described, but I think the battery life is unreasonable. To have a product run for hours every other day, for a month without charging, is nuts. Having it run for a week is more on-par with techspectations.

  • 20:30 "I don't remember the last time I had [a graphics driver crash]." Me: (Cries in Planet Coaster Extended Debug Mode due to graphics drivers crashing every time the game tries to launch) (also cries in GTX 750ti)

  • to trump supporters,u really want a president who lies and throws out shit and negativety about almost everyone, including all who has ever worked for him,im not american, please see who benefits with all the negative hate and conspiracy theories wich is just insane, come to youre senses, choose anything but trump, because if he gets 4 more years to take over washington,u will never get him out,EVER. A dictator in the making.

  • nice so we gonna have a Nvidia price drops :D
